Candidate and client outreach, without a SaaS reviewing your templates.

Most hosted cold-email tools list recruiting as a restricted or prohibited use case in their acceptable-use policy — your account can get flagged, reviewed, or suspended for exactly the kind of sourcing outreach the job requires. SubsiMail runs on your own server. There's no content review and no industry blocklist, because there's no platform to enforce one.

No content police

Write what you want. Source who you want.

Hosted platforms review templates and restrict whole categories of use — recruiting is one of the industries commonly flagged, alongside things like debt collection and SEO outreach. SubsiMail never inspects your content and keeps no prohibited-use list. Your actual sending limits are the ones your own email provider sets, same as always.

You're responsible for sending lawfully and honoring opt-outs; we just don't get a veto over what you write.

Your data, literally

Candidate and client data stays on your server.

Names, resumes context, employer history, contact details — the sourcing pipeline runs on personal data most recruiters already handle carefully. SubsiMail never uploads your list anywhere; it sits in a SQLite file on infrastructure you control, so you're the data controller with no vendor DPA to chase for a tool that only ever sees a license check.

No third party holds your pipeline

Candidate and client contacts live in your own database. We have no copy, no access, and nothing to hand to anyone.

Suppression lists, built in

Honor a candidate's opt-out globally, across every sequence, without manually scrubbing lists by hand.

Sequences stop the moment they reply

No risk of a candidate who already responded getting a follow-up touch by mistake.

Custom fields for whatever you track

Role, seniority, source, pipeline stage — import from CSV/XLSX and merge-tag any field into your sequences.

FAQ

Will my sourcing emails get flagged or reviewed?

No — SubsiMail doesn't inspect outgoing content at all. Mail relays straight through your connected Gmail, Outlook, or SMTP account, so the only rules that apply are the ones your own provider already sets.

Is this GDPR-compliant for candidate data?

Self-hosting means the candidate data never leaves your infrastructure, which is what makes you the data controller rather than a vendor. Staying compliant — consent basis, retention, opt-outs — is still your responsibility; SubsiMail gives you the suppression-list and unsubscribe tooling to support it, not a compliance guarantee.

Can I track which pipeline stage a candidate is in?

Yes, via custom fields on each contact, which you can also use as merge tags in your sequences.

I'm sourcing for multiple open roles at once — can I keep those lists separate?

Yes, contacts and lists work the same as any campaign: segment by list per role, and scope a whole campaign to just the recruiters staffed on it if you're on a team.

Source candidates and clients without asking permission.
