What's a safe daily sending volume for a brand-new domain?

#98 Resolved
Ashley D. 302 days ago

Already asked about warm-up timeline elsewhere, but specifically: what's a safe number of emails per day to start with on day one of a new domain?

Andrew Anderson Staff 302 days ago

Around 20–30 emails on day one is a reasonable, conservative starting point for a completely fresh domain with zero sending history. It feels slow, but ISPs are watching for exactly this kind of gradual, consistent pattern versus a domain suddenly appearing and blasting volume — the former reads as a legitimate sender building up naturally, the latter reads as a spam operation.
