Syncing unsubscribes back to my CRM automatically

#65 Resolved
Elizabeth H. 393 days ago

Need unsubscribes in SubsiMail to also mark the contact as opted-out in our CRM, so we don't accidentally re-add them to a list later. Possible?

Yes, via the “Contact Unsubscribed” webhook event — point it at a Zapier catch hook (or a direct webhook endpoint if your CRM supports inbound webhooks) and have it update the matching CRM record's opt-out field. This is worth setting up proactively rather than reactively; it's a common compliance gap when unsubscribes only live in the sending tool and not the source-of-truth CRM.
